Our antibiotic medicines, levofloxacin tablets are widely used for treating infections caused by certain bacteria and can be administered intravenously or orally. 
Levofloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic and works by killing sensitive bacteria. 
These are available in 250 mg, 500 mg compositions, these are synthetic antibacterial agent of the flouro quinolone class and in the s (-) enantiomer of the racemic drug substance ofloxacin.
