Ciprofloxacin film-coated tablets are available in 250 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg strengths. It is used to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.
Ciprofloxacin is used to treat a number of infections including: infection of bones and joints, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, malignant otitis externa respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, anthrax etc. Ciprofloxacin is a chemotherapeutic antibiotic of the fluoro-quinolone.
